Especially the singing that comes from the songs of Suntraporn band and luk-krung style. These songsare continually being re-recorded for sale. Until today, these songs are used as main elements in television singing competitions. This article therefore presents synthetic data on three main principles, namely (1)the history of singing in Thailand before 1967 to create an understanding of the source and development of singing in Thailand, which has led to the singing of Thai popular songs; (2) the history of Thai popular singing during 1925 – 1967, which presents the timeline of the phenomenon of singing through the entertainment business and government administration policies that led to the popularity of Western-style Thai music among Thai people at that time; and (3) the characteristics of Thai popular singing during 1925 – 1967, which presents five characteristics, including the natural voice projection, the vibrato, the neumatic singing, the melismatic singing, and the interpretation and emotional expression. These data show the connection between Thai traditional singing and the influence of Western music entering Thailand that leads to Thai popular singing having characteristics, which is unique and different from the popular singing of the West and other nations. Because the characteristics of Thai popular singing during 1925 – 1967 came from the combination of singing skills in Western popular music and Thai culture and ways, such as language, expression, beliefs, ideas, etc.
ฺNutthan Inkhong Copyright (c) 2023 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 18 2 1 12 GUIDELINES FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE WASTE-FREE COMMUNITY https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/vrurdihsjournal/article/view/262780
A general information presentation where either the presenter reads the text on the slide screen or he/she may use subtitles that are different from the on-screen content while narrating, seems to be a traditional style. There is a question of what kind of presentation methods are effective and which ones are not effective and how. In this article, a comparison between a good and bad media type, as well as the underlying causes of including its background, advantages, and disadvantages will be discussed. The relevant research results are to be used as evidences, the problem of ineffective media used in a Power Point (PPT) program will be pointed, for example, having more text in the slides that listeners may not get them in the time constraint can cause a nervous state to receive information overload. This is called in psychological term as "Cognitive load" (heavy condition on the brain), which may cause learning failure on presentation. From the results of research in the field of educational psychology, the study concluded by referring to the structure of the brain in the process of entering information into the human memory system (Human Memory Model). The result revealed that to have achievement, instructional media must be suitable designed and consistent with the functions and capabilities of the central nervous system (working memory).

Results of research studies on brain processes will be used as a reference to include knowledge in theory by discussing and categorizing types of media, including problems that cause cognitive load on audiences. Human cognitive architecture is fundamental base used for analyzing.
Orachorn Kraichakr Phramaha Warantorn Yanakitti Phramaha Nitithat Yanasitthi Copyright (c) 2023 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 18 2 13 22 THE CURRICULUM IN DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS’ ABILITIES IN STEAM EDUCATION: EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT MODEL OF CHILDHOOD STUDENTS OF SMALL-SIZED PRIMARY SCHOOL IN NAKHON NAYOK PROVINCE https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/vrurdihsjournal/article/view/260085
The purposes of this research article were to 1) examine the effectiveness of
the curriculum development of teachers’ ability to design activities in the STEAM education model, 2) investigate the effects of enhancing abilities to develop activities in the STEAM education model, and 3)survey the teachers’ satisfaction of implementing the curriculum as
a design of development research. Secondly, it was aimed to obtain recommendations for amending the law regarding their employment. The research was conducted using qualitative research design based on documentary research.
The research findings were found that there have been many laws defining the prohibited qualifications in the case of persons who have previously been sentenced by a final judgment to imprisonment, such as the Health Establishments Act 2016, the Security Business Act 2015, and the Land Transport Act 1979. The main cause of criminal problems has been affected from the society that determines crime. Even though those ex-convicts were completely punished, the society has disdained, insulted, refused including, neither been forgiven nor offered a chance to make amends. This has possibly forced those ex-convicts to repeat more illegal commitment.
The research recommendations were revealed that the provisions of the Health Establishments Act 2016, Security Business Act 2015, Land Transport Act 1979 should be revised by adding the following messages, "...or obtain a certificate of employment after release from prison issued by the Department of Corrections". In addition, it should propose a requirement to the Department of Corrections to issue a work certificate after release from prison.
These recommendations were expected to eliminate obstacles from ex-convicts’ employment.
Tattanan Konglamthan Natthaphon Sitthiphram ธนวัฒ พิสิฐจินดา Nontachai Mora Wannarat Thongkanta Copyright (c) 2023 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 18 2 57 70 AREA-BASED PARTICIPATORY DEVELOPMENT OF BEUNGKASAM SUBDISTRICT, NONGSUEA DISTRICT, PATHUMTHANI PROVINCE https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/vrurdihsjournal/article/view/262932
This article presents results from area-based research for development under the cooperation between Buengkasam subdistrict and Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the Royal Patronage. The study sample comprised 140 undergraduate students at Kasetsart University Bangkhen Campus, Academic Year 2022. Of these, 120 participants were recruited by quota sampling for quantitative study, and data were collected using questionnaires. The quantitative data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient. Next, 20 volunteer participants were selected by purposive sampling for in-depth interviews. The qualitative data collected were analyzed using content analysis. The results indicate a high level of students’ social support (M= 3.68, SD=0.55), and moderate levels of attitude toward death and death preparation behavior (M= 3.17, SD=0.73 and M=2.83, SD=0.52, respectively). Moreover, death attitude had a moderate positive correlation with death preparation behavior (r=.53, p<.05), while there was no relationship between social support and death preparation behavior, nor between social support and death attitude. Furthermore, the in-depth interview on social support revealed that social support helps students to improve their death preparation behavior, and the most important sources of social support are family and friends. Students hold different ideas about life after death and contemplation of death, but most students perceive death as a natural thing that happens in life. Most participants have a positive perception toward death preparation behavior and believe that if they were prepared for death, they would live a happier life. However, most of them have not yet engaged in death preparation.
Namprung Boonnop puttamon suwankanti Panomporn Phoomchan Uae-anut Tanomwong Suchada Sakolkijrungroj Monthira Boonthip Copyright (c) 2023 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 18 2 99 114 THE BUILDING AND MAINTAINING THE POLITICAL SUPPORT BASE FOUNDATION IN ANG THONG PROVINCE https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/vrurdihsjournal/article/view/264719
The purposes of this research are (1) to scrutinize the political context affecting
the formulation of political strategies of the Chart Thai Pattana Party in creating and maintaining
a political support base; (2) to discuss the Chart Thai Pattana Party’s best strategies for building and maintaining the political support base foundation in Ang Thong Province; (3) to investigate and find out the causes and grounds for the termination of its political support base in Ang Thong Province. A qualitative research method was used for document analysis and in-depth interviews with 17 people who were directly involved, serving as key informants. The data collected were analyzed and interpreted to draw conclusions using an inductive model approach.

The results of this research indicate that:

1) After the great tragedy of October 14, 1973, people became more aware of politics, leading to the 1974 constitution announcement, which defined that the candidates for
the House of Representatives needed to be under a political party. Later, the Chart Thai Party was established by the Soi-Rachakru group and businessmen with close ties with the Chunhawan family and Adireksan family under the pretext of the 1974 Political Party Act.
2) The Chart Thai Party created its political power base through connections with
a forest concession businessman such as Mr. Somchai Lerkwararak. After Mr. Somchai’s passing, the Chart Thai Party changed its political strategies to preserve its power base by supporting Mr. Somsak Prissananthakul, who succeeded the political party “Samnuekrakbankerd”.
3) The primary reason why the Chart Thai Pattana Party ended its political support base in Ang Thong Province was the election on March 24, 2019, and the result was not in their favor, resulting in the change of political parties by its politicians. In addition, the Prissananantakul group terminated the political support base of the Chart Thai Pattana Party for any candidates for membership in the House of Representatives.
Teerapan Prahaiporn Wallop piriyawatthana Jiraporn Boonying Copyright (c) 2023 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2024-01-05 2024-01-05 18 2 115 124 FACTORS AFFECTING THE DEMAND FOR THE USE OF DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOR STUDENTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/vrurdihsjournal/article/view/265226
The goals of this study are to 1) analyze the factors that influence demand for digital media for learning among students with learning disabilities, and 2) investigate the link between factors that may have a significant impact on demand for digital educational media for learning disabilities students. Communication strategies outlined by Everett M. Rogers were used as analytical framework for this qualitative research. Results were that the USSR political character towards Islam and Kazakh believers between 1917 and 1928 comprised policy compromise, preservation of Islamic belief culture in Kazakh society in the early days and conflict avoidance to retain Kazakh popular support. Government political communications about Islam in Kazakhstan from 1929 to 1941 consisted of: 1) as senders, the Soviet government, League of Militant Atheists, Koshchi Union, and anti-religious organizations; 2) messages with information expressing anti-USSR hostility, degradation of human dignity, promoting the capitalist system and emphasis on counterrevolutionary doctrines; 3) as media, official documents, Bezbozhnik newspaper and periodical, as well as Antireligioznik periodical, academic channels and slogan use; 4) an audience of Muslim Kazakhs in Kazakhstan; 5) as a result, most of the Kazakh population retained Islamic beliefs and led daily lives adhering to religious principles; 6) a reverse effect in which the government perceived that anti-religious efforts to change beliefs were ineffective due to lack of cooperation from inhabitants of Kazakhstan. This research reveals the significance of Islam in Kazakhstan. Therefore, Thai organizations should develop a model for cultural relations, particularly within the framework of Islamic cooperation, in a bilateral context with Kazakhstan.
Parit Aroonoast Copyright (c) 2023 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 18 2 137 148 LOCAL REGULATIONS MODEL FOR MANGROVE MANAGEMENT https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/vrurdihsjournal/article/view/266178
Mangrove forest resource is a crucial resource to human existence and serves as a habitat for several animals. However, it is now discovered that the mangrove forest area is encroached upon and utilized, resulting in a reduction of mangrove forest resources. The research aims to explore the ways to preserve resources and make mangrove forests more fertile and sustainable by creating local regulations model for mangrove forest management. The research methodology applied in this study included reviewing research papers, in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. The sample group of the study included the representatives from successful forest management areas, representatives from local government organizations, and representatives from the community sector in the forest area.

According to the study, the result revealed that important factors affected forest resource management in Thailand including human resources, budget, central government support, delineation of jurisdictional boundaries, emphasis on forest conservation by local government organizations, and community participation. In addition, the analysis of numerous documents on forest management concepts and regulations in Thailand revealed that there is no formal legislation governing forest management in the country. Instead, other laws' principles are adopted, resulting in an inconsistent understanding of responsibilities, and overlapping functions. As a result, a study of the roles of local governments and community participation in forest resource management was carried out.

This research study suggests that local government organizations use the model local forest management regulations to create a local ordinance that is appropriate for their community context in order to achieve effective and sustainable forest management.
Sirichai Kumanchan Siwaporn Saowakon Korakod Tongkachok Copyright (c) 2023 มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2023-12-31 2023-12-31 18 2 149 156 SATISFACTION OF PERSONNEL OF THE OFFICE OF THE PERMANENT SECRETARY OF THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE IN ACCESSING THE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS) MINISTRY OF JUSTICE https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/vrurdihsjournal/article/view/267050
The purposes of this study were 1) to study the satisfaction level of using the Learning Management System (LMS) of Ministry of Justice and 2) to compare the satisfaction levels of using the LMS classified by personal factors. The investigation examined the utilization of indirect refusals and their relationship with politeness strategies and the sociological variables, namely social distance (D), relative power (P), and absolute ranking (R) of imposition, as expounded by Brown and Levinson (1987). The analysis was conducted on negative responses to offers and suggestions in the story and the results were based on the politeness strategies put forth by Liang and Min (2013). The findings demonstrate that indirect refusals used by characters, such as those between the doctor and the prince-patient in the story, align with politeness strategies, with an example in the use of excuses or reasons. The sociological variables between them play a crucial role in their usage, particularly in preserving the interlocutor's positive face by providing a rationale for their deployment. These results offer evidence to support the politeness theory proposed by Brown and Levinson.
