THE DEVELOPMENT OF DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT MODEL IN SCHOOL UNDER THE OFFICE OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA BUENGKAN

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) to develop documentation management model, 2) to assess the appropriateness of the developed model in school under the office educational service area bueng kan. Model was conducted in the first phase by 1) study concepts, theories and related research papers, 2) drafting the development of documentation management model, and 3) receiving deliberation of 5 experts. The second phase was the model appropriateness assessment by the data that was collected by a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with discrimination power between 0.35-0.75 and reliability value at 0.98. The sample group consisted of 210 school directors and teachers who responsible for the documentation in school under the office educational service area buengkan in the academic year B.E. 2561, selected through multi-stage random sampling. SPSS was employed in data analysis to determine the percentage, mean and standard deviation.


The findings were as follows:


  1. The development of documentation management model comprised

4 components, namely 1) factors affected documentation management, 2) scope of documentation, 3) process to develop documentation, and 4) goals of documentation management.


  1. The appropriateness assessment result of the developed model in an overall was at the highest level with mean value of 4.74 and standard deviation of 0.46
