THE EFFICIENCY OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

This study propose to measure the efficiency of social responsibility of university using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) by BCC model (Banker, Charnes & Cooper, 1984). The two inputs are the government budget per student and number of total university personel. The eight outputs are efficiency of expenditure spending (Jhantasana, 2018) and others seven outputs from social responsibility indicators (Joy Tongkomsi, 2555). Data were collected from students and personels of nine Rajabhat universities in the central region.

The data envelopment analysis (DEA) measures the efficiencies of Rajabhat university within the range of less than or equal to one. The efficiency universities are determine an efficiency frontier. If the efficiencies are measured within the range of greater than or equal to one, then the worst performances of Rajabhat university are determine an inefficiency frontier. The result show efficiency university are Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Muban Chonbeuang Rajabhat University and Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University. For all Rajabhat university obtain the real efficiency scores thus we propose to study all Rajabhat university in Thailand
