EXECUTIVES’ PERSPECTIVES ON ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION OF EMPLOYEES’ ROLES AT THE 5-STAR HOTELS IN PATTAYA CITY, CHONBURI TOWARDS

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to study the executives’ perspectives on environmental conservation of employees’ roles at the 5-star hotels in Pattaya City, Chonburi Province totally 5 hotels. It was found that (1) role and potential of employees in operation, motivational enhancement, and public mind of operation level employees do not directly affect environmental conservation supporting operation of hotels in Pattaya, (2) policy on natural resources conservation and environmental management of 5-star hotels in Pattaya City, Chonburi Province has clearly expressed and received good collaboration from hotel employees, and (3) social responsibility towards natural resources and environment conservation is one of the activities to participate in the social network and is beneficial to community at large.
