Abstract

The study of “The relationship between the quality of educational management and mental responsibility development of students who attended VRU identities subject at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University, under the Royal Patronage, attempted to investigate quality of educational management level, mental responsibility development level as well as the relationship  between the quality of educational management and mental responsibility development of students who attended VRU identities subject at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University, under the Royal Patronage. The quantitative survey was used for this research.


The results of the study revealed that total of 345 students constituted the participants of this study. The numbers of 215 participants were female and the remaining of 130 was male. Regarding the ages of the participants, 277 participants were between the ages of 15-20 years old, followed by 68 students were between the ages of 21-25 years old. Of the total participants, the majority of 333 students are Buddhist, followed by those of 5 students are Muslims and other religious. Most of 88 participants studied in Humanities and Social Faculty, followed by Education Faculty of 83 participants. The major findings of the study revealed that, on average, the teaching method aspect was rated at a very high level with a mean score of 4.02, meanwhile the content aspect, the environmental climate aspect and the university facilities aspect were moderately rated with a mean score of 3.94 respectively. However the lowest mean score of 3.67 was media and technology management aspect. Moreover, the level of opinion on Thai cultural responsibility was considered at the high level (4.10). Additionally, the participants rated Thai cultural responsibility and self-responsibility at a moderate level. The mean scores of these aspects were 4.02. On the other hand, the participants stated that the environmental responsibility was rated at the lowest level with the mean score of 3.91 accordingly.
