Abstract

In presentation of Isan through all 9 articles, Chanon Chai Thongdee, uses methods in a variety of studies, and the integration of science in order to obtain a profound knowledge by using an important conceptual framework which is ethnic identity by definition of creation or to reproduce of the identity in two ways: 1) Definition of positive identity is the definition or definition of identity in relation to one's own history, ethnicity and society or groups of people in the same society, and 2) the negative identity definition is the definition or identity created by an individual and groups of people from outside the community; both enemies and allies, most of the time, their identities tend to be negative.
