A Model of Library Management Through Buddhist Approach

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study Buddhist moral which proper to library management, to build library management format along Buddhist moral and to assess suitability and possibility of library management through Buddha style. The sample group was 60 executive principle from Nakhorn Pathom Primary Education Service Area Office 2 by indepth questionnaire interview about library management through Buddha style. The frequency, percentage, and indepth analysis from paper and interview. The result of this research were found that library management through Buddha style; Seven Suppurisadhamas which is 1) Dharmannutta: knowing the law; knowing the 2) Atthannuta: knowing the meaning; knowing the purpose; knowing the consequence. 3) Attannuta: knowing oneself 4) Mattannuta: moderation; knowing how to be temperate; sense of proportion. 5) Kàlannutà: knowing the proper time; knowing how to choose and keep time. 6) Parisannutà: knowing the assembly; knowing the society, conference and context. 7) Puggalannutà: knowing the individual; knowing the different individuals
